Klarna’s VTEX apps allow you to integrate Klarna Payments and On-site Messaging (OSM) into your VTEX store. These apps help improve the shopping experience by offering flexible payment options at checkout and dynamic messaging to boost conversion rates.

The Klarna integration for VTEX consists of two separate apps:

• Klarna Payments App – Adds Klarna as a payment method at checkout, allowing customers to choose from Klarna’s available payment options.
• Klarna On-Site Messaging (OSM) App – Displays Klarna’s promotional messages across your store to inform customers about financing options.

Each app must be installed and configured separately. If you want to use both Klarna Payments and On-Site Messaging, you need to install and set up each app individually.

Before you install Klarna’s VTEX apps, ensure you meet the following requirements:

• VTEX requirements
  
  • Your store is built on VTEX IO.
  
  • You have admin access to the VTEX Admin Panel.
  
• Klarna account requirements
  
  • You have an active Klarna Merchant account.
  
  • You can access the Klarna Merchant Portal to retrieve API credentials.
