Starting from Klarna for WooCommerce version 4.3.0, both Klarna Payments and Order Management are now included in the same plugin. This means you no longer need separate plugins for Klarna Payments and Klarna Order Management.
The Klarna payments* *plugin provides your existing Woo checkout with a Klarna-hosted payment widget alongside your other existing payment methods. With Klarna payments, your customers select their preferred payment method at the Woo checkout and complete their purchases. By integrating Klarna payments with your online store, you have more control over the checkout experience.
You can also enable Klarna easily as a payment option in Woo Payments, or in plugins from Adyen, Mollie, Stripe, and many more. You can still use the Klarna plugin for other features (On-site messaging, Express Checkout and Sign in with Klarna), as long as you have access to your client identifier.
Within Order management, you have control of different operations with the orders created when your customers pay with Klarna.
Use Order management to execute tasks before, during, and after fulfilling the orders.
You can perform basic tasks to handle orders and facilitate your customer's post-purchase experience like capturing, refunding, canceling, and updating orders.
For Klarna for WooCommerce version 4.2.0 and earlier, the Order Management solution is available as a separate plugin. It can easily be added via the Klarna add-ons menu after installing the payment solution plugin.
With Express Checkout you can fast track the customer's journey to payment. Currently only two-step express checkout is supported, meaning a customer completing a purchase via the express checkout will land on the order confirmation page and need to press complete order before ending up on the order confirmation page.
With On-site Messaging, you can let your customers know about the available payment options as they browse your online store, even before they decide to buy.
On-site Messaging is a solution that lets you add tailored messaging to your business website or mobile app, together with Klarna payments.
