Settings holds the credentials and configuration for the account selected in the account selector. Switch accounts to manage the settings of another account.

Klarna API keys are sensitive. Only share them through secure channels.

Klarna API keys

Use Klarna API keys to authenticate server-side requests to Klarna, for example for conversion features. Payment Requests go through Cybersource, not through these keys.
  1. 1.
Select Generate new Klarna API key.
  2. 2.
Select Download as .txt to save the key. You can only see it once.
The list shows each key's ID, status, creation date, last use, environment, and who created it. Select Disable to turn off a key you no longer use.
API keys unused for more than 2 months are disabled, and keys disabled for more than 10 months are permanently deleted. Requires two-factor authentication.

Client identifier

Use a client identifier for client-side integrations with the Klarna SDK, such as On-Site Messaging and Express Checkout.
  1. 1.
Register the domains where you use the Klarna SDK as allowed origins. Requires two-factor authentication.
  2. 2.
Select Generate and copy the client identifier.
If Cybersource manages your origins, the page tells you so and you don't need to do anything.
You can copy existing client identifiers from the list at any time.

Webhook notifications

Subscribe to Klarna webhooks to receive events, such as dispute updates, on your server. Requires two-factor authentication.

Customer service information

Add the contact details and return policy that Klarna shares with customers who need to reach you. Add them globally or per market.
