General rules

  • The timeout for requests towards the Klarna Checkout API is 30s after which a HTTP status code 504 will be returned.
  • If you get a 4XX or 5XX or any other type of error, you should create a new order.
  • Klarna checkout orders are only valid for 48 hours after merchant update or client interaction and expire after that. This expiration is normal.
