Interoperability data

Klarna Network’s Interoperability data schema is a structured data framework that enables seamless communication between Klarna and its partners during the end-to-end customer journey. Designed with flexibility and scalability in mind, the schema supports various versions and operations such as Payment Request, Capture, Refund, and Reauthorization, all through clearly defined JSON structures. This model ensures forward compatibility and simplifies integration across diverse partner systems by encapsulating the full payment lifecycle within a single, versioned schema. By embedding this data in APIs used to initiate payments or checkouts, Acquiring Partners can relay critical payment context, including customer tokens and supplementary purchase data, without the overhead of a full API integration, reducing latency and integration complexity.
